HOME INSPECTION and BUILDING INSPECTION
On-Site Inspection Time (typical for 2,000 sq. ft. 1-family):
• 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
Systems and Components Inspected: See Inspection Procedure.
Wood Destroying Insect (Termite) Inspection:
• Licensed to perform inspections by NYS DEC.
• Limited visual inspection included as part of a home inspection.
• Results reported in Inspection Report and on industry standard NPMA-33 form.
Septic System Loading Test (Septic Dye Test):
• Basic septic system functional test included as part of a home inspection.

Tests Available for Additional Cost:
• Radon gas concentration per EPA protocol: Two charcoal test cannisters remain in home for minimum 2 days.
• Well water quality test - evaluation of 27 water quality parameters which meets FHA / VA mortgage requirements.
Test consists of: 2 Microbiological Parameters: Total Coliform and Fecal Coliform/E.coli (presence/absence). 6 Metals: Arsenic, Copper, Iron, Lead, Manganese and Zinc. 19 inorganic parameters: Alkalinity, Ammonia, Calcium, Chloride, Chlorine, Color, Conductivity, Hardness, Magnesium, Nitrate, Nitrite, Odor, pH, Potassium, Sediment, Sodium, Sulfate, Turbidity, Total Dissolved Solids.
